Atomic is an Australia/New Zealand distributor of global, iconic clothing brands well known to the urban, surf & skate fashion markets. Our company is 30 years strong and growing due to new brand contracts and market opportunities. Our current brands include Dickies, Santa Cruz, Independent, Stan Ray and Sendero Provisions.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our sales strategy across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll manage key accounts, guide regional sales teams, and identify growth opportunities across all Atomic Brands. This role blends leadership with hands-on execution — from forecasting and reporting to building lasting relationships with buyers and retailers — ensuring our collections perform as strong in-store as they do on paper.
Your responsibilities include:
- Manage sales teams, AUST/NZ;
- Sales management focusing on all Atomic Brands;
- Booking, Managing and selling collections to selected major accounts
- Analyse monthly/yearly sales budgets and develop clear sales strategies aimed at future growth.
- Communication with international brands, regarding sales enquiries and sales development;
- Weekly sales forecasting to Director and analysis at the conclusion of each seasonal sell;
- Forecasting with Operations Manager during and post seasonal sales periods;
- Booking, Managing and selling collections;
- Stockist and store visits
- Proactively analyse market and consumer trends both internationally and locally.
- Grow existing customer base by identifying new opportunities for sales growth, following up on referrals and leads
- Relationship management with sales team and buyers
- Travel Inter-state to meet with Agents, retailers to identify new market opportunities.
- Collate and provide national sales feedback to Design Director during and after sell periods
- Product training for Customer Service team, educating them on new ranges
- Coordination of the development of SMU ranges, ensuring all information is received from Sales Team in the correct format, prior to being distributed to Production and Customer Service.
- Preparation and coordination of the distribution of SMS samples.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure wholesale accounts have all required POP and Visual Merchandising needs met.
1. Reporting: –
a) Market Report for all territories, which needs to be submitted via email by the 10th of every Month, without fail. This report should be submitted to Director, Design & Production Director & Marketing, Customer Service and operations: –
- At once Sales by State for the previous month
- Best sellers by region for the previous month
- New accounts added by region for the previous month
- Potential opportunities identified (there may not be something for this every month, but it should be flagged as something that should be included onthe Market Report)
- Submissions of monthly call cycles
- Submission of monthly store visits
- Monitoring and identifying slow moving styles.
2. KPI: –
- Growth in refill business by 20% from previous year across territories
- Growth in indent sales for each of these regions by 20% from previous indent period.
- On time reporting, with monthly reports submitted on or before specified date.
- Increased average order value, by 10% from previous year.
- Coordinating Sales Team so that all customer orders are received by Order Cutoff date.
- Ensure Customer Service are trained in product prior to delivery.
Bonus, if all your KPI’s are met for the financial year, you will be awarded a bonus of 0.5% of profit. KPI’s will be revisited annually and adjusted when needed at the discretion of Atomic Fashion Marketing Pty Ltd.
