About FLYP Fantasy
FLYP is building the first true fantasy manager for action sports – skate, snow, surf, ski, wake and bike. Already over 30,000 unique users strong and growing fast, we’re shaping a new way fans interact with the sports they love.
Now we’re looking for someone who wants to help build the FLYP community from the ground up.
Who We’re Looking For
A driven, creative, action-sports native who understands the culture deeply.
Someone who loves fantasy sports, knows what makes fans stick around, and wants to play a key role in shaping how action sports fans connect with athletes, stats, and stories.
This is not a “post a couple IG stories” role.
This is a build-something-new role.
You will be one of the voices – and ideally the face – of FLYP Fantasy.
Your Responsibilities
Community & Communication
• Build a new community around FLYP Fantasy from day one
• Develop and run campaigns on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, newsletters
• Engage with fans, athletes, events, and media partners
• Tell stories through stats, gameplay insights, and live event highlights
Content & Creative
• Concept, script, and produce social and YouTube content
• Create visual and written assets (with support from our design partners)
• Host or co-host video formats, fantasy breakdowns, and weekly updates
• Manage our owned news channels (WhoRanked, in-app news, athlete content)
Growth & Performance Marketing
• Work with the team to set up signal engineering, tracking standards (Meta Pixel, App Events, Google Tag Manager), and growth funnel infrastructure
• Help build and optimize Meta + Google campaigns
• Collaborate on targeted UA experiments, retargeting, and performance testing
• Understand attribution and use data to inform content + campaign decisions
Strategy & Expansion
• Work directly with the founders on messaging and brand identity
• Build growth loops with athletes, events, and media outlets
• Constantly experiment — this role requires original thinking, not templates
What You Need to Bring
This is non-negotiable:
• Deep knowledge of action sports (skate/surf/snow/ski/wake/bike)
• You follow athletes, events, and the culture closely
Additionally:
• Strong content creation skills (video, short form, storytelling)
• Confident on camera
• Strong communication & copywriting
• Curiosity, creativity, and the ability to ship fast
• Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and basic performance marketing tools
• Bonus: knowledge of tracking setups (Meta Pixel, GA4, GTM, SDK events)
