Content Creator and Social Media Executive Full Time

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a creative, social-first Content Creator & Social Media Executive to bring the Impala brand to life across our social and digital channels. At the heart of this role is creating great content, from quick-turnaround iPhone videos and trend-led social to lifestyle content, campaign BTS, paid social creative and fresh ideas that build the Impala brand. You’ll have a strong eye for what looks good, understand what works on social and be confident taking an idea from concept through to filming, editing and posting. You’ll work closely with our creative and brand teams, attend shoots and events, collaborate with creators and help ensure Impala stays relevant, engaging and distinctive across every social touchpoint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create, film and edit social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and other relevant platforms.
• Regularly create lifestyle, product, trend-led and reactive content using iPhone and editing tools such as CapCut.
• Attend campaign shoots, events and activations to capture social-first and behind-the-scenes content.
• Develop fresh content ideas and repeatable social franchises that build a distinctive Impala point of view.
• Create and test video content for paid social advertising.
• Stay across social trends, creator content, emerging platforms and cultural moments and identify opportunities for Impala to join the conversation.
• Manage Impala’s day-to-day social channels, including posting, community engagement, DMs and UGC.
• Work with the creative team to adapt campaign content for social.
• Identify and build relationships with relevant creators and influencers, and coordinate gifting and collaborations.
• Write engaging, on-brand social copy and support digital copy requirements as needed.
• Capture content at rink, community and brand events.
• Monitor social performance and use insights to continually improve our content.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years’ experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
• A strong portfolio of social-first content.
• Confident filming and photographing on iPhone.
• Strong video editing skills using CapCut or similar.
• Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok and social trends.
• A great visual eye and strong sense of brand.
• Creative, curious and naturally full of ideas.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and turning ideas around quickly.
• Experience working with lifestyle, fashion, beauty, youth or consumer brands is a plus.
• Current driver’s licence.

Skating experience is welcome, but definitely not essential.
