Sales Representative – Action Sports Full Time

Liveheats is a technology platform for action sports competitions and tours globally. We create technology that makes the competition experience better for athletes, organizers, judges, and spectators – from live scoring to registration, rankings and more.

Objective of this role:

Your job is to increase the number of action sports competitions, tours, and clubs that successfully use Liveheats software around the world – with a focus on Skateboard & BMX in North America & Europe.

Primary job duties:

• Establishing contact and conducting meetings with event organizers in action sports globally, small clubs to one-off events, to professional tours and beyond, across all Liveheats supported sports and regions
• Taking on inbound enquiries from event organizers and conducting discovery meetings
• Building relationships with people in the action sports event organizer industry
• Deeply understand the problems, opportunities, workflows and stakeholders of action sports clubs, competitions and tours
• Build a public profile in the action sports event organizer industry – attend conferences, major events, contribute to content and articles for the industry
• Proactively and creatively seek new business opportunities for Liveheats in the action sports industry and beyond
• Conduct all customer meetings and manage the collaborations with other parts of Liveheats
• Collaborate with Head of Customer in the sales process from proposal to contracting
• Collaborate with Customer Success Manager on the roll out of platform with major customers
• Collaborate with product team on improving the product for action sports organizers
• Contribute sales planning, strategy and reviews

Must haves for this role:

• Strong network and is well known in US competitive Skateboard community – e.g. as a former former athlete, team manager, event manager, judge, etc
• 3+ years experience in B2B sales (any industry, but bonus points for software!)
• Ability to be creative to reach the right people and build trusting relationships
• Self starter mindset who is able to work independently
• Strong communicator – as a remote company all communication will be digital
• Adaptable to a startup environment, where roles can evolve and overlap at times
• Able to do calls at odd-hours – as the team is spread across EU & Australian timezones – you will have to do calls late at night or early in morning
• Interest in starting a career in technology
