About the Role
The Social & Content Specialist is responsible for executing the Global Digital Strategy to strengthen Quiksilver’s brand performance and presence across digital channels. This role focuses on creating, managing, and amplifying engaging content that builds community, increases brand engagement, and drives sell-through.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
Generate, edit, publish, and distribute engaging content across multiple platforms.
Ensure consistent output aligned with seasonal go-to-market plans and brand activations.
Create local content with the potential to scale regionally and globally.
Social Strategy & Channel Management
Design and implement social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
Build and manage a social content calendar tied to seasonal campaigns.
Oversee social media accounts across multiple channels.
Production & Creative Direction
Develop creative briefs and direct regional photoshoots.
Produce authentic brand storytelling moments that elevate Quiksilver’s identity.
Community & Talent Management
Build and maintain relationships with freelancers, athletes, ambassadors, and influencers.
Develop and execute regional ambassador and influencer campaigns.
Drive strong user-generated content initiatives to foster community growth.
Events & On-Ground Activation
Support regional and global events through content capture and distribution.
Manage athlete and partner relationships during activations.
