About the Role:
Our Creative Team is hiring a Digital Designer. We are looking for a creative expert with a high-level aesthetic and advanced technical skills to bring concepts to life across multiple digital channels. As the Digital Designer, you will work closely with the Digital Art Director and other core departments to deliver exceptional work. Success in this role requires the ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a full-time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. (3) Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design creative assets for social media, email, website, and content channels following brand direction.
- Develop strong partnerships with the Creative Team to ensure timely delivery of work.
- Collaborate with team members and be open to constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with cultural and industry trends to create relevant visual communications.
- Maintain knowledge of digital best practices across all platforms.
- Execute projects while adhering to brand guidelines for consistency.
Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Figma and After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of graphic design, including typography and layout.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
- High understanding of digital platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly and make an impact in a versatile company.
- Organized, flexible, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to take direction and execute independently.
- Skilled in photo composition and retouching.
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and animation.
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years of related professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art or equivalent related experience.
- Experience working in creative environments, including in-house or agency experience.
Special Requirements:
- Some travel (up to 20%) for creative inspiration and market research.
- Flexibility to work late evenings/early mornings when necessary to meet deadlines.
