Role Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Warehouse Manager. Based out of our head office in Burleigh Heads (Gold Coast); and living by our company motto ‘The Sound of Change’, we are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate.
The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our warehouse facilities. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, manage inventory control, order fulfilment, and delivery logistics, and ensure that our operations meet high standards of quality and safety.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are a rapidly expanding business, with significant needs in the warehousing and logistics space.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and team cohesion.
- Manage rosters for both full-time and casual staff based on workflow requirements, which are required to be dynamic based on demand.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform stocktakes, and manage stock replenishment.
- Implement efficient systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, production) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Manage logistics and coordinate with couriers, freight companies, and third-party providers.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order turnaround times, stock levels, and team performance.
- Assist with the development of strategic plans for warehouse expansion and improvement.
Key Attributes
- Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in fashion or a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics.
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Forklift licence (desirable).
