As Director, Global Talent Management, you’ll be a key part of a newly formed global Talent team — building and embedding core talent practices that support our growth, culture, and values.
You’ll lead the design and rollout of high-impact initiatives across performance management, talent and succession planning, career development, and capability frameworks. You’ll also grow and lead a team of talent practitioners who are just as focused on people and potential as you are.
The People & Culture team partners with every part of the business to evolve how we work and grow. We focus on alignment, trust, and driving value for people across all levels of the company.
As the Director of Global Talent Management, you’ll report to the VP, Talent, and work across regional and functional partners to embed strategic talent solutions that scale globally and land locally.
Design and implement talent management solutions that align with company strategy, values, and culture
Translate business needs into actionable plans and scalable talent programs
Lead talent & succession planning initiatives to strengthen and deepen our global talent pipeline
Evolve our performance management approach — from goal setting to promotion pathways and development planning
Create and embed comprehensive career development programs that drive engagement, growth, and retention
Develop a global skills and competencies framework, including success profiles and assessment tools
Partner on leadership development and workforce planning strategy
Build relationships across the business and lead through the Arc’teryx Leadership Code
Foster a high-performance, high-collaboration environment where feedback, learning, and trust are valued
Support the build-out of a global mobility program (with Talent Acquisition & Total Rewards)
Strengthen talent management capabilities across regions
Continue to develop toward your own leadership goals
Bachelor’s degree in HR, I/O Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
8+ years in progressive Talent Management roles, including 3+ years in leadership
Proven success in designing and rolling out end-to-end talent programs
Deep experience in performance management and succession planning
Strong knowledge of HRIS/talent systems and tools
Analytical mindset — you interpret data and turn it into action
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Clear ability to align strategy with execution, and drive outcomes
Budget and resource management experience

Salary: CAD $149,000 – $205,000
Individual pay depends on skills, experience, and expertise
Bonus eligibility + full benefits package
