About the Role

As our Regional Manager, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and practical support to multi-site leaders and store teams in Torquay and the Greater Melbourne area.
• Drive increased profitability and performance in the region, ensuring the achievement of regional and store level KPIs.
• Influence and coach the team to ensure the consistent execution of customer experiences, operational processes, and visual merchandising standards.
• Utilise financial reporting and KPI results to identify improvement opportunities, implement strategies to address underperformance, and optimize costs, wages and inventory control.
• Act as a key link between retail stores, our Torquay and Burleigh Head Office teams, and the local community of potential customers.

Key responsibilities:

You will rely on your exceptional coaching skills to build a collaborative and high performing sales culture, with the aim of establishing a competent and capable retail team that you will expertly guide through the traditionally tough Victorian trade conditions.  You will:

• Oversee approximately 15 stores in total, supported by an Area Manager and a team of store-based people managers.
• Have direct responsibility for elevating the performance of three high profile stores in Torquay, each with their own store managers appointed.
• Report to a well-established State Manager. 

What You Bring:

You’re an experienced multi-site leader in a large-scale fashion retail business.  To be successful, you will have:

• Prior experience as a Regional Manager, Area Manager or similar role.
• Experience in the fashion retail industry.
• Proven ability to influence retail sales and results.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve a balance between hands-on operational tasks and higher-level strategic leadership.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Solid retail business understanding and operational knowledge.
