The role:

City Beach currently has an incredible opportunity for an experienced Fashion Buyer to join our Women’s Buying Team and deliver on-trend vertical and branded products to our 60+ stores.

What you’ll be doing:

• Sourcing products from local and international suppliers
• Forging strong relationships with suppliers through travel and regular contact
• Use your knowledge of current fashion trends and work with the Product Development Team on new products
• Analysis of your products to gauge performance and guide future decision making
• Monitor department and store comparisons
• Checking purchase orders and order confirmations
• Monitor cancellations and changes to delivery date
• Mentor and develop Assistant Buyers into future leaders of the business

What we’re looking for?

• Demonstrated experience working in retail fashion buying
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of current and current trends
• High level of Microsoft suite skills including Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred
