Main Purpose of the Role

Support the organic growth of Outerknown’s women’s business through a focused summer creator discovery and product seeding initiative. This role will help build the foundation for future creator partnerships tied to product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key consumer moments.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what resonates with women’s fashion audiences, and is excited to help grow a purpose-driven brand through creator and content marketing.

Schedule: Part-Time (20–30 hours/week)
Location: In-office at HQ in Carlsbad, CA

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Creator & Community Development

• Build a strong network of brand-right female creators aligned with Outerknown’s aesthetic and values
• Identify, research, and vet creators with agency support, including ShopMy affiliates
• Build and maintain creator outreach and tracking lists
• Align creators with product launches and key brand moments

Content & Campaign Support

• Develop creator and UGC content calendars
• Create curated product roundups and creator lists within ShopMy to support affiliate conversions
• Monitor creator content, engagement, and performance across platforms
• Track trends in women’s fashion, social content, and affiliate marketing to inform strategy

Seeding & Brand Activation

• Help develop and execute the brand’s seeding program, including kits and packaging inserts
• Coordinate product seeding initiatives, including celebrity gifting
• Support events and other marketing initiatives as needed

Reporting & Organization

• Build weekly and monthly creator performance reports
• Maintain organized workflows, spreadsheets, and creator tracking systems

PERSONAL MEASURABLES

• Build a network of at least 100 brand-right female creators
• Develop and maintain a creator / UGC content calendar

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for women’s fashion, sustainability, and storytelling
• Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and creator ecosystems
• Strong understanding of social media culture and trends
• Interest in working with creators to develop authentic brand storytelling
• Relevant marketing coursework or experience
• Understanding of brand development and creator marketing
• Highly organized and comfortable managing spreadsheets and workflows
• Strong written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to move quickly and take ownership
• Ability to work in-office 3 days per week for 8 weeks
