Product Coordinator Full Time

About the role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products, manage style setups in the PLM system, and maintain seasonal product line presentations. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sample coordination, merchandise coordination, or product line management, with a passion for the lifestyle/footwear market. This is a full-time, exempt position. Employees are required to work a hybrid schedule. (3) Days in office at our HQ in Carlsbad, and (2) Days Remote. 

Duties:

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure product deadlines are met
• Manage all style set ups and updates in the PLM system
• Build and maintain seasonal VLPs by channel
• Help to create and validate all style names
• Manage all channel samples through each development stage and maintain most up to date product in the channel room
• Support in managing the channel product room and set up for key milestones
• Create product decks ahead of account meetings, prelines, FFANY and other key checkpoints
• Maintain and update product decks post account meetings
• Help to support product costing by calculating targets and tracking costing changes at development milestones to ensure all products are achieving targets
• Track weekly sales, booking, sell-thru data for Family Channel and prepare summaries for the PLM Team
• Maintain monthly targets, strategic objectives and data for ECOMM Channel and prepare monthly assortment overviews
• Build and maintain timely and accurate line tools including seasonal product matrix, consumer trend insights, sales and booking data
• Attend and provide support during meetings including product summits, CAD reviews, sample reviews
• Collaborate with merchandising team to proof product attributes for seasonal workbook
• Collaborate with sales team to support sample needs and provide relevant product information
• Know market competitors including their respective positioning, price points, products, and market share

Required Educational Background: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Merchandising/ Buying or related field is preferred

Required Years’ Experience: 

• 1-3 years in sample and merchandise coordination or Product Line Management preferred
• Retail buying, sales and/or merchandising experience a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• Knowledge of lifestyle/ footwear market preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills that inspire, influence, and build trust resulting in effective working relationships with internal and external partners
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with and ability to work within Product Management software a plus, Enovia preferred
• Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments
• Creativity and passion for product
• Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, and proactive
• Must be adept at handling multiple priorities and time sensitivities
• Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to an office environment and must adhere to the rules and safety regulations of the facility

Pay Transparency:

REEF Lifestyle LLC complies with all applicable state and local laws regarding pay transparency. For positions located in California, the hourly range or salary for this role is $65k-$70k. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
