About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on the graphic execution of Rip Curl’s men’s product range – from bold boardshort prints to the trims and details that bring a collection to life. You’ll work closely with the Head of Design, Art Director and Product teams to develop graphics that are not only visually compelling but also commercially sharp and globally aligned.
You’ll be embedded in the product development process – working on seasonal direction, crafting original yardages and placements, and ensuring every graphic enhances the product’s performance, appeal, and story.

What You’ll Do

• Creation of seasonal yardages, placement graphics, trims, and labels across the men’s range
• Collaborate with the Head of Design to set global direction in print, color, and silhouette
• Contributing to Design Camp, CAD sign-offs, and executive reviews
• Ensure graphics align with Rip Curl’s customer segmentation and product architecture
• Push innovation in boardshorts – helping us lead the global market with standout design and storytelling
• Partner with Product Development and suppliers to elevate quality, consistency, and finish
• Support Rip Curl’s sustainability goals through thoughtful design and material choices
• Deliver market-leading product that connects with customers and performs in the real world

What You’ll Bring

• A strong understanding of the product design and development lifecycle
• Proven ability to forecast and translate fashion trends into compelling, commercial graphics
• Technical knowledge of garment construction, trims, and fabrications
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop – with a portfolio that shows range, originality, and impact
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills – with the ability to lead and inspire across teams
• A passion for surf, youth culture, and the Rip Curl brand – with a drive to innovate and elevate
