About the Role

We are currently on the lookout for a motivated and passionate QLD Ladies Sales Manager to oversee QLD sales, which includes 2 of our biggest accounts. Working directly with our wholesale partners to continue the level of service they are used to, all while growing the brand in our independent surf lifestyle stores. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, with a great work ethic & an eye for detail. Someone who consistently brings new ideas to the table and strives to achieve their goals. The successful applicant must possess strong problem-solving & communication skills and have a passion for either surf lifestyle or fashion.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee Ladies sales across QLD & Northern NSW into our current network of wholesale partners, building relationships with stores, following up leads, setting up new accounts, planning, forecasting and growing the brand
• Manage all aspects of the Burleigh Heads office from receiving and dispatching deliveries, looking after printers, managing QLD sample ranges and preparing the showrooms for indent
• Report to the National Sales Manager, facilitating administrative duties such as booking appointments, EDM management, set up and monitoring of SMU trackers, along with supplying relevant market information and feedback to assist in range direction and development
• Work closely with buyers from our key wholesale partners through indent, injections and exclusive product design
• Work with the marketing team to make sure Rusty is seen in the best light in every store within your territory
• Represent the Rusty brand with confidence, authenticity and professionalism

• Be willing and happy to travel throughout QLD and Northern NSW, to regional areas, at least 6 times a year and travel to WA when required for sales conferences etc.
• Be able to work autonomously but know there is an amazing team to support you in QLD and at head office

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years previous experience in a sales role within the surf/fashion industry
• Be customer focused, building long lasting relationship that are mutually beneficial
• An understanding of the surf customer & their lifestyle
• Ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work and travel autonomously, collaborate with a team and take direction
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Good computer skills – Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
• An Australian Driver’s Licence & a reliable car that can carry a sample range
• A tertiary qualification in business or similar will be highly regarded
