Social Media Content Creator Full Time NEW
We’re looking for a hands-on, high-output Social Media Content Creator to produce daily content across all Sanuk social platforms. This role is for someone who wants to film all day, edit all day, and jump into any idea with creativity and enthusiasm. You’ll work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, who sets the strategy, while you bring the creative execution to life—filming, editing, publishing, and keeping our channels fun and fresh.
This isn’t a corporate social media job—it’s a roll-up-your-sleeves, constantly-creating, always-experimenting role. Perfect for someone who wants to grow their creator skills inside a playful, collaborative brand.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a creative, scrappy, and hands-on Social Media Coordinator to bring our brand to life across digital channels. This isn’t a “sit back and schedule” kind of role—this is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves, brainstorm, film, edit, and publish content that feels fresh, authentic, and on-brand every single day.
The right candidate is obsessed with social media culture, loves testing new trends, and knows how to turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping content. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Content Creation (Primary Focus)
- Concept, capture, edit, and publish daily content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- Publish monthly on Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Jump on trending formats, memes, and cultural moments to keep social channels fresh, relevant, and engaging
- Partner with the creative team on larger-scale campaigns while also independently shooting, editing, and publishing content on the fly
- Ideate and execute small-scale social content shoots from concept through production
- Create two paid media video assets per month to support digital marketing campaigns
- Repurpose and optimize content across platforms to maximize reach and engagement
- Create and publish TikTok Shop content, including product-focused videos, shoppable content, and content designed to drive product discovery and conversion
- Support the ongoing management and growth of TikTok Shop, including identifying content opportunities, optimizing product storytelling, and collaborating with marketplace and digital teams
- Plan and host a monthly TikTok LIVE experience, including developing concepts, coordinating products and talking points, creating promotional content, and engaging with the community in real time
- Experiment with TikTok-native commerce formats and LIVE content to drive engagement, product education, and sales
Analytics & Trends
- Track key performance metrics including engagement, reach, growth, and content performance, sharing actionable insights on a monthly basis
- Monitor competitor activity, platform updates, and industry trends to recommend creative pivots and new opportunities
- Continuously test, analyze, and optimize content strategy based on performance
Campaign & Event Support
- Assist in planning and executing integrated brand campaigns, product launches, contests, and collaborations
- Ideate and execute community and influencer events from concept through on-site execution
- Coordinate and execute small social-first content shoots to support product launches and seasonal campaigns
- Help manage paid social campaigns alongside the broader marketing team
- Maintain and manage the social content calendar to ensure timely execution across all platforms
- Support the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Director on day-to-day marketing initiatives
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Support influencer partnerships, creator seeding, and user-generated content initiatives
- Assist with influencer outreach, campaign coordination, and content approvals
- Collaborate with creators to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and brand standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, marketplace, and digital marketing teams to align social content with broader marketing initiatives
- Support cross-functional projects and contribute creative ideas that strengthen brand awareness and engagement

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 1-2 years of social media, digital marketing, or related experience (internships count)
- A true passion for social media—you’re the one sending your friends TikTok’s before they’re viral
- Strong writing and communication skills with a knack for witty, engaging captions
- Comfortable behind and in front of the camera (bonus if you like being part of the content!)
- Basic photo/video editing skills: experience with Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Suites is a plus
- Extremely organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
- Must be based in the LA area and excited to work in-office in Manhattan Beach—this role is hands-on and collaborative
