Sr. Director, PR & Influencer Full Time

Job Description

The Senior Director of PR and Influencer Marketing for Vuori will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive public relations and influencer marketing strategies that align with our brand goals and drive consumer engagement. This leadership role requires a creative & innovative thinker with a proven track record in fueling “center of culture” conversation, building relationships, managing teams, and driving successful PR campaigns in the apparel, entertainment or lifestyle sectors.

Qualifications

What you’ll get to do:

• Strategy Development: Create and implement innovative PR and influencer marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, enhance reputation, and drive customer acquisition.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of PR and influencer marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals.
• Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, securing coverage in top-tier publications, blogs, and online platforms.
• Influencer Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our brand values and target audience.
• Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of PR campaigns, product launches, events, and influencer collaborations to ensure alignment with brand messaging and objectives.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of PR and influencer initiatives, utilizing insights to refine strategies and improve performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sports marketing, consumer insights, brand activation, content strategy, product (merch & design), and sales teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and integrated marketing efforts.
• Crisis Management: Partner with Corp Comms to activate crisis communication strategies to protect and enhance the company’s reputation in the event of negative publicity or challenges.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in PR and influencer marketing, preferably within the apparel, sports, or lifestyle industries.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Strong network of media contacts and relationships with influencers in the performance and lifestyle space.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and reporting tools.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of current trends in social media and influencer marketing.

The salary range for this role is $250,000 per year – $270,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
