We are expanding our Product Management team and are actively searching for a Product Manager to work within our Gear & Equipment Category. This high-impact role is responsible for managing our existing product portfolio and contributing to the vision and strategy for future innovation within this high-growth category.
Portfolio Management
Manage a complex and growing business involving active portfolio oversight. Monitor and respond to global omni-channel sales, product, and consumer feedback with a deep understanding of key product and commercial levers that impact performance.
Innovation Roadmap
Contribute to the development of a multi-year innovation roadmap that aligns with YETI’s overall growth and business objectives, informed by market and consumer trends.
Product Requirements
Define detailed product requirements (performance needs and features) that deliver a compelling user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with design and development teams to execute the product innovation roadmap and manage ongoing product decisions.
Customer Advocacy
Act as the ultimate customer advocate by deeply understanding consumer needs, buying behaviors, and macro trends.
Market Monitoring
Continually track and report on market trends through competitive analysis and consumer insights to inform product direction.
Executive Communication
Clearly communicate and align leadership on category vision, roadmap, and strategy.
Company-Wide Partnerships
Collaborate cross-functionally with:
Brand & Marketing for messaging and positioning
Supply Chain & Operations for global product planning
Global Retail & eComm for commercial and distribution strategies
Quality & Customer Experience to understand customer sentiment and product issues
Bachelor’s Degree required
4–6 years of product management experience with at least 2 years in consumer goods
Experience in premium brands or consumer goods strongly preferred
Proven ability to operate at scale within a global, high-growth environment
Familiarity with long-range planning and managing complex, omni-channel categories
Strong problem-solving and agility in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated ability to build and manage cross-functional relationships
Global product and merchandising strategy experience
Innovative thinker who can merge insights, trends, and competitive research into actionable product decisions
