Production Manager Full Time NEW

We’re Billy Bones Club. Punk East Coast Streetwear brand based in Collingwood. We’re looking for a Production Manager to own the engine room and make sure everything we design actually gets made, on time, at the quality the club expects. We’re a small team and culture is everything to us. Family vibe, good times, easy going, but ready to get it done and make epic things together.

The job:

End to end ownership of the critical path. Your job is turning designs into product on the shelf, every drop, on time. You’re not the lead designer, but you’ve got taste and a good eye, and you’ll have real input on what we make.

• Own and run our Critical Path system end to end, tracking every style from approved design through to delivery
• Coordinate production across 6+ factories internationally and locally, owning the relationships and timelines
• Communicate with suppliers daily, negotiate materials, pricing and production requirements
• Travel when it counts. Factory visits, supplier meetings, seeing production on the ground
• Work alongside the design team to keep development on schedule and flag anything drifting off track
• Review and approve samples at every stage, from first proto to final production, and hold the quality line
• Source and select fabrics, trims and all garment components
• Maintain tech packs with the design team so factories always have what they need
• Keep the workflow moving between the internal team and outside contractors
• Spot problems before they become problems, and fix the ones that show up anyway

You:

It’s not about how old you are or how many years are on your resume. We care about a great attitude, follow through and someone who gets it done.

• Solid background in apparel production, garment construction and materials
• Have run multi factory production calendars offshore, or you’re ready to step up to it
• Strong on critical path management, you know where every style sits at any moment
• Sharp eye for sample review and quality control
• Got style and taste of your own. You know what good product looks like and you’re not shy about weighing in
• Can read and maintain tech packs.
• Confident communicator with suppliers, you build relationships but hold the deadline
• Happy to jump on a plane for factory visits and face to face meetings
• Organised enough to run multiple drops at once without losing the plot
• Calm under pressure, easy going in the studio.
• No ego. Small team means everyone contributes and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
