Sign inFORMER is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Merchandise team at our Burleigh Heads headquarters.
This role sits at the intersection of Brand, Merchandising, and Digital Marketing, working closely with the Global Brand Manager, Global Design Lead, Merchandise and Operations teams, and the founders to execute seasonal creative with precision.
The expectation is clear: deliver work that is on-brand, on time, and at the highest standard. Every asset — from product graphics to wholesale tools — must reflect the integrity of the FORMER vision.
This position supports the full creative lifecycle of the brand, from seasonal concept development through to wholesale sell-in and digital campaign execution.
You will translate brand direction into production-ready assets across apparel graphics, campaign materials, and commercial tools, requiring strong technical ability, attention to detail, and disciplined execution.
Support the Global Brand Manager in preparing seasonal visual assets for wholesale and digital activations
Assist with photoshoot coordination including pre-production planning, shot lists, asset management, and post-shoot organisation
Design and layout seasonal Range Books and wholesale sales tools
Produce wholesale and retail asset packs including imagery, product sheets, POS materials, and digital sell-in assets
Work with the Global Design Lead to support seasonal product development
Prepare detailed tech packs, including artwork placement, specifications, and production-ready files
Maintain and organise artwork libraries and production files to ensure accuracy and consistency
Adapt campaign and seasonal assets for eCommerce, email, and social media
Maintain visual consistency across all digital brand touchpoints
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign essential)
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and garment graphic application
Experience preparing production-ready artwork and tech packs
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality
Experience within apparel, surf, skate, or streetwear preferred
Organised, accountable, and deadline-driven
Collaborative and comfortable working within a small team
Open to feedback and iterative creative development
Genuine appreciation for surf, skate, art, and independent culture, with an understanding of the FORMER brand and audience
