Sign inFORMER is seeking a commercially driven National Sales Manager to lead and scale the brand’s ANZ business from our Burleigh Heads headquarters.
This role owns national revenue across wholesale, key accounts, and eCommerce, working closely with the founders and leadership team to strengthen distribution, deepen retail partnerships, and build disciplined commercial structure around a rapidly expanding brand.
Success in this role requires balancing brand vision with commercial performance — protecting the integrity of the brand while driving measurable growth across all channels.
The National Sales Manager is responsible for omni-channel revenue performance across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing wholesale strategy, key accounts, agency management, and digital revenue growth.
You will lead wholesale strategy, manage selected territories, align external sales agencies, and partner with Brand, Digital, Merchandising, and Operations teams on forecasting, inventory planning, and commercial execution.
The objective is clear: grow revenue, strengthen retail partnerships, and maintain disciplined brand positioning across all channels.
Own seasonal and annual revenue targets across wholesale and eCommerce
Develop integrated channel strategies across retail and digital
Identify distribution and growth opportunities while maintaining brand positioning
Build strong relationships with key surf, skate, and lifestyle accounts
Lead seasonal sell-in presentations and range showings
Negotiate commercial terms, manage order books, and drive repeat business
Secure sell-through data from retail partners to inform forecasting and replenishment
Analyse account performance to identify risks and opportunities
Ensure strong in-store brand execution across key accounts
Manage and align external sales agencies to revenue and brand objectives
Set territory plans, KPIs, and reporting standards
Directly manage selected states/territories and key accounts
Maintain consistent communication across the national sales network
Partner with Brand and Digital teams to drive eCommerce growth
Lead online forecasting, launch planning, and promotional strategy
Align digital trading with seasonal product drops and inventory flow
Analyse traffic, conversion, and sell-through data to optimise performance
Lead seasonal forecasting across wholesale and eCommerce channels
Use historical data and market signals to inform demand planning
Manage order intake, cancellations, and replenishment strategy
Work closely with Operations to optimise inventory flow and minimise risk
Deliver accurate sales reporting and channel analysis
Provide insights on product performance and market trends
Support founders and leadership team with clear commercial visibility
5+ years experience in a sales leadership role within apparel or action sports
Strong retail relationships within the ANZ surf and skate market
Experience managing omni-channel revenue across wholesale and eCommerce
Strong forecasting, reporting, and data analysis capability
Experience managing key accounts and external sales agencies
Inventory planning experience working with operations teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong commercial acumen and disciplined execution
Commercially driven with strong brand awareness
Structured, organised, and accountable
Confident negotiator and presenter
Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally
Genuine understanding of surf, skate, and independent culture aligned with the FORMER brand
