Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Carson, CA for an E-Commerce Customer Service. The role includes managing customer inquiries across email, chat, and phone, resolving order, shipping, returns, and product-related issues, and ensuring a positive and consistent customer experience. The coordinator will maintain and update product listings, descriptions, and images on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
Daily tasks also include monitoring customer feedback, identifying recurring issues, collaborating with internal teams (warehouse, marketing, and sales) to resolve problems, and contributing to FAQs and help-center content. The role may also involve basic reporting on customer service metrics and assisting with promotional campaigns and site updates.
Some Content Coordination involving the following: upload new products to the website. Build out product detail pages, update product descriptions, add product imagery and other product content. Update website home pages, collection pages, and general web pages. Merchandise product collections to sync with marketing initiatives and to improve the customers’ shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and manage order-related concerns professionally.
- Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure positive interactions, build loyalty, and identify opportunities to improve service processes.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to convey information succinctly.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Gorgias, or similar) and basic content management for product pages.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email tools) and comfort working with order management systems.
- Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or lifestyle/boardsports brands is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or related fields is a plus.
