Email Marketing Specialist Full Time NEW

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As our Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving customer engagement and loyalty through best-in-class email and retention campaigns. You’ll be hands-on with the day-to-day planning, building, and execution – ensuring every send is timely, on-brand, and delivers a seamless experience.

In this role, you’ll own the tactical side of our email and retention program- from scheduling sends to refining content variations – while keeping a close eye on performance. You’ll also partner with the Director of Digital Marketing to inform bigger-picture strategy, sharing insights and recommendations that help shape the future of our customer journey.

This role is based out of our Vancouver HQ, with in-office collaboration Monday through Thursday so if you thrive in a creative, in-person team environment, we’d love to hear from you.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, and working closely with the Creative, eCommerce and Digital Marketing team,  the Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Execution of the email marketing calendar in Klaviyo, coordinating with Creative and Marketing teams to review assets and schedule campaigns.
• Set up and deployment of lifecycle and transactional flows (e.g., welcome, cart/browse abandonment, post-purchase), optimizing them under manager guidance.
• Exploring and recommending new retention opportunities.
• Upholding best practices for deliverability, compliance, and privacy standards of all marketing communications.
• Tracking and reporting on campaign and flow performance, providing insights and recommendations to the Director, Digital Marketing.
• Building and applying customer segmentation based on established strategies to improve personalization and engagement.
• Conducting A/B testing (e.g., subject lines, creative, send times) and implementing approved optimizations.
• Supporting list growth initiatives through approved acquisition tactics and cross-channel collaboration.

DELIVERABLES & KPIs

• Accurate and timely campaign and flow deployments.
• Improvement in key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions).
• Consistency in brand voice and content across email touchpoints.
• Actionable performance reports and test results shared with the team.

ABOUT YOU

• 2–4 years of experience in email marketing or CRM, ideally in a DTC, lifestyle, or fashion environment.
• Experience building email templates.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and performance optimization techniques.
• Working knowledge of email compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR).
• Strong understanding of email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and segmentation basics.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

BONUS POINTS

• Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, SuperMetrics).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana).
• Experience with SMS or loyalty program support.
