About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a passionate Graphic Designer to join our Women’s Product Crew at Rip Curl.
Reporting to the Art Director – Women’s Apparel, you’ll help shape the look and feel of our women’s apparel and accessories — from bold placement graphics to eye‑catching prints and trims. If bringing seasonal collections to life with colour, energy, and that signature Rip Curl vibe gets you amped, you’re in the right spot.
You’ll be based in Torquay, as part of our dedicated Women’s Art Hub, collaborating closely with Product Development, Design, and Marketing to make sure every piece we create feels cohesive, fresh, and fit for purpose.
Your Day-to-Day
- Team up with the Head of Product and Head of Design to bring the Women’s strategy to life.
- Dream up and execute placement graphics, artworks, and trims that elevate both the product and the brand.
- Help shape seasonal direction — trends, prints, colours, silhouettes — all with a Rip Curl twist.
- Make sure your graphic work supports customer needs and fits perfectly within our range architecture.
- Work hands‑on with Product Developers and suppliers to deliver quality, consistency, and innovation.
- Champion sustainability through considered design and smarter material choices.
- Keep our brand identity strong, unified, and unmistakably Rip Curl across the women’s range.
What You Bring
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
- Killer illustration and graphic design talent.
- A solid understanding of product design and development.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and nail deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- A deep feel for fashion, youth culture, and that unique surf DNA.
- Knowledge of garment construction, trims, and fabrication.
- A collaborative approach and clear, confident communication.
- Most importantly — a genuine passion for Rip Curl, the lifestyle, and the Search.
