Since 1985, we’ve designed and distributed apparel, surf products and accessories that are sold across Australia and international markets. About the Role

We’re looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our Perth team to help plan create, and manage material for our online platforms & drive digital marketing campaigns.

Digital Content Producer

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for bringing campaigns to life across digital channels. From concept through to post-production, you’ll create engaging video and digital content that connects with customers, strengthens brand presence, and supports commercial objectives.

Working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams, you’ll produce high-quality content across paid, owned, and social channels in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conceptualise, produce, film/photograph and edit engaging video/photo content for digital, social media, eCommerce and marketing campaigns.
• Create compelling digital assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Balance creative vision with commercial objectives, making data-driven decisions on what visuals will perform and resonate best.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop creative concepts from brief through to execution.
• Capture product, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content for marketing initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering to tight deadlines.
• Stay across emerging content trends, social-first storytelling and best practices to continually elevate creative output.
• Ensure content is commercially focused, delivering strong engagement while supporting business and sales objectives.
• Approve final imagery, creative concepts, and campaign assets to maintain brand standard and quality.
• Provide strong styling direction to elevate product presentation and customer appeal.
• Push boundaries, think big, and set the tone for where Rusty is heading creatively.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Digital Content Producer or in creative direction, content creation and art direction (preferably within the fashion industry)
• Hands-on experience with shoots, styling, and content creation.
• Strong videography, shooting and post-production experience
• Professional studio photography experience essential
• Experience creating high-performing content for social media, digital marketing and eCommerce.
• A strong understanding of what drives customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
• An understanding of Google & Meta advertising
• Excellent visual storytelling and creative direction skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding organisation, time management and project management skills.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and editing apps/ tools.
• Strong creative copywriting skills with an awareness of trending social language
• Deep knowledge of social-first creative – what works, what doesn’t, and what’s next
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Passionate about fashion, storytelling, pushing creative boundaries and creating moments that go viral
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two days look the same
