Post-Production Coordinator Full Time NEW
The Post Production Coordinator is the operational engine of TGR. They ensure the post pipeline runs smoothly from drive organization and first ingest through final delivery for all TGR projects.
This role bridges production and editorial, tracking assets, schedules, approvals, and deliverables so the Lead Editor and creative team can stay focused on storytelling. The Post Production Coordinator owns communication, calendar oversight, file tracking, technical systems, and workflow organization across departments.
They are highly organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing both creative logistics and IT infrastructure with a passion for mountain storytelling.
This role is based in-office in Wilson, WY. Not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial & Project Management
- Build and maintain post calendars and milestone trackers for the annual film and supporting projects
- Track segment status (racking → edit → turnover → finish) and provide weekly updates
- Execute footage intake, ingestion, organization, and audio sync for incoming footage
- Create proxies, transcode media, manage relinks, and support high-res/low-res workflows.
- Sync audio (timecode, tentacle, manual), label and log footage, and build stringouts, radio cuts, and selects reels as needed.
- Schedule reviews, collect feedback, and manage turnovers to color, sound, and graphics
Film Distribution & Deliverables
- Manage film festival submissions and external screening deliverables
- Oversee TGR project uploads and troubleshoot delivery issues
- Manage and maintain TGR TV
IT & Systems Management
- Administer Adobe, DaVinci, and Google Workspace licenses
- Manage cloud storage access, remote systems, and user onboarding/offboarding
- Coordinate LTO archiving, server organization, and storage maintenance
- Troubleshoot editorial system issues and maintain platform accounts
Internal Operations & Support
- Monitor post-related inboxes and support requests
- Coordinate stock footage pulls and one-off editorial exports
- Support leadership with post-related admin and operational needs
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years in post-production coordination, production management, or assistant editorial roles.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows (ingest through delivery).
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve workflows is a plus.
- Experience tracking large volumes of media and deliverables across multiple departments.
- Advanced organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, Frame.io (or similar review platforms), and spreadsheet tracking systems.
- Calm under deadline pressure; clear communicator who anticipates problems before they arise.
- Passion for mountain sports, filmmaking, and creative collaboration.
Bonus Points
- DaVinci Resolve conforms or assistant-color experience.
- Basic motion graphics (AE precomp hygiene, dynamic links).
- Field savvy (DIT basics, offload/verify, card reports).
- 5.1/immersive deliverables familiarity and captioning tools (SRT/CEA-608).
