Sunward Bound is an Australian-owned surf brand born in the Northern Rivers, NSW, created for women who live for the ocean and the outdoors.

We believe that when you feel your best, you glow from the inside out. Everything we make is designed to help women feel confident, capable and free in the water, whether they’re charging their local break or chasing waves on the other side of the world.

Our brand is built around four ideas: empowered, adventurous, playful and feminine. It shows up in our bold prints and retro-inspired colours, and in a community of women who see surfing as joy, not competition.

We’re committed to sustainable, slow surf wear. That means thoughtful design, small-batch production and pieces made to last season after season, not trend after trend.

What started as a founder-led passion project has grown into a loyal community of customers across Australia and beyond. We’re now looking to bring Sunward Bound to more surf shops and boutiques that share our values, both locally and internationally.
